Lamplighter Teacher Training

This is for you if you're interested in teaching others to become lamplighters: guides and creatives who make change in the world through imagination, inspiration, restorying, wisdom, and possibility. At some point this might include teaching for Pronoia Academy, whether an ongoing class or workshop or as part of a certificate.

Although many of our offerings fall within the scope of the Human Potential Movement, they are designed to support deep cultural change. Doing our work on ourselves is necessary, but it doesn't automatically translate into positive cultural transformation.

This teacher training will also equip you to do many kinds of transformative teaching and mentoring in a variety of settings.

Live Classes:

Please do either of these: 1. Take these live classes: Lamplighting, Meet Your Imaginal Allies, and Deep Mentoring and Teaching. You might need others depending on the topics you wish to teach. Or, 2. Take the Certificate in Foundational Loreology (once available).

Reading:

The main purpose of Pronoia Academy and its Lampcove community is to teach lamplighters as well as those who teach them.

Our primary working fictional mythology is the Lamplighter Trilogy. It is part of the Assembling Terrania Cycle, some books of which are free. "Myth is good to think with," said Levi-Strauss. So is fiction, especially with myth and depth psychology built in. It's not required that you read all this, but you might want to.
