Lamplighting: A Class for Bringing the Light

It’s time for a new kind of change agent. 

Imagine a visionary, counselor, sage, bard, and mentor rolled into one. You’d get a lamplighter who brings cultural and personal illumination through the power of deep imagination and storied inspiration. 

You’d get enlarged guiding stories, new dreams to follow, meanings to live by. A set of tools for accessing more of the human heart. And a new kind of imaginative change-making lore through wonder, enthusiasm, celebration, collaboration, and play. 

These worldview counselors, wisdom mentors, quiet visionaries, and possibility detectives work to expand confining guiding stories to welcome new dreams, visions, and meanings that can inspire us forward together. They are heralds of hope and of the new waiting to be born, conjuring beyond the actual by invoking the possible.

Join us for a four-week Zoom class of lamplighter education given by a double PhD with a background in depth psychology, philosophy, consciousness studies, terrapsychology, mythology, storytelling, and leadership. We will also consider what kind of planetary mythology—transliteral and made of inspiring fiction—awaits assembly in our time. 

Classes begin June 20th and will be held once a week on four Saturdays at 10-11:30 am Pacific time. We will record the sessions for anyone who needs to miss.
